O/T Watching football behind closed doors

Ever since football went behind closed doors has the amount of games you watch (not including the Millers) changed? Just curious whether people have watched more because of being at home or don't enjoy it as much when nobody is there so watch fewer games.

I watched some of the Liverpool and Leipzig game last night and I really didnt enjoy it. Games of that level should have a raucous atmosphere and I'm not nearly as engaged. Watching the Millers is the only game I'm properly into still for obvious reasons and games that have an impact on us. Others I would enjoy usually have definitely dropped off in interest since covid.

I prob watch more now. I feel that after work madness and juggling family/home schooling insanity, I need an escape outlet more than anything so watching more of top prem games than I used to, and of course all Millers games. Feels like an outlet from normality and routine of lockdown that I need, combined with a couple of crafty beers.

To be honest I have watched less,some of the so called big games have been a real let down.I will watch us tonight with fingers crossed.

Finding that outlet from the routine of lockdown is super important. Do you find you get into the games as much as you would do usually or is it more of just being an escape? I think I notice it most when a team scores, when we score I have an audible 'get in' as you do but other games it's just drab.

Probably watched more at start but now I generally just look at results or watch sky sports news.

Only one game I’ll be watching tonight, I won’t bother with the semi final game beforehand

Big games are so overhyped. I don't watch any build up to games now for that very reason. The game itself rarely lives up to it.

Only games I’ve watched are the millers. Not really bothered bout watching football with no crowds,no atmosphere. Until everyone can go back and watch footy I’m not bothered bout going back .

Watching more television generally but not football. Just the Millers. Watched some New Zealand club rugby mainly because it was the only country with crowds still attending.

I bet the noise of the crowd sounded amazing. Better than the strange fake stuff like at Preston blaring out
