It seems like yesterday. Man United played Leicester on the same day and we passed on the M6, our support dwarfing theirs.
I actually preferred that strip to the green shorts. The scarves were good too, green and yellow with sky blue in between.Quote:

I was there that day, celebrating amongst that lot behind the goal. That evening, watched the highlights on the TV in The Swan pub, Chaddesley Corbett; the pub erupted when the goal ‘went in’! That was a Very Good Day Out.
I was to be seen singing and dancing on top of an Oldham bus shelter
I was there with my then wife who was 8 months pregnant and when that goal went in I had to protect her from the crush. I was so glad to get her on the pitch at the end where there was a bit more room.
