I think he's had too much Green Tea, hopefully tongue in cheek comment.
Hope its not been a last minute attempt to bump his price up !
Different styles so difficult to tell and of those listed MS has certainly played the most games for us at the 2nd level in English football. If he had the speed of BW and the finishing ability/goal scoring record of BW and ALF he wouldn't have been playing for us. He's more in the mould of RM, not as good a goal scorer but a better target man.
Not sure he's the Greatest of all time (GOAT) but nor was the goat XD
Think warne has habit of exaggerating in general in his interviews…
Add Dave Gwyther.
Probably
Definitely
Paul Warne may be comparing goals to games ratio Archiemiller. Smith's record with us is good although this season is his best so far. He's never been exactly prolific, works hard for the team and deserves all the goals he gets. Only my opinion.
Well, I always liked John Galley (108 games, 46 goals). He was a real crowd pleaser and he scored goals. I think Smith falls more into the Alex Revell category, not prolific (well, not until this season) but will always be popular because of his aerial prowess, always providing a way out and an admirable work-rate. A real team player.
Could it be PW is having a laugh at ( with) Richie Barker?
