Tbh never heard of Ncuti Gatwa although he apparently got good reviews in "*** Education" (not that I've ever seen it). The "Doctor" though can rejuvenate as anyone so don't really care if they are male/female/gay/bi/older/younger/have a disability or are White, Black, Brown, Yellow or Red. Just as long as they can act and bring something to the part. Of course it smacks of wokeism/tokenism - but that will surely only matter if he is c rap in the role.
If the character could rejuvenate as anyone, did we expect to have 50 years of white bloke? (Except the one ‘token’ women)
