Just heard that non league clubs have been given permission to start games from 1 p.m. from October in order to save on energy costs, especially in the use of floodlights. Many non league clubs are run on a shoestring and initiatives like this could make a huge difference to them in keeping their heads above water in these difficult times.
If anyone cares to read back through older threads I actually mentioned this a couple of weeks ago, it makes perfect sense.

I think a lot of non league teams will see double and treble their normal attendances during the hiatus in League football.
I think more people will try it for the first time and see just how “old school” it is and enjoy the humour on the terraces.
Mind you, it’ll take a lot to beat one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard at Anna Albion match a few years ago.
One particular ref was having an awful game and an Albion fan stood up and shouted.....

Excellent clubhouse/social facilities at Stourbridge? Must have been an upgrade since I was there when Albion played in the Senior Cup a few years back 😊 .
