Barristers Strike

It appears most are going on strike or planning to do so! Don’t know why every profession including NHS and Emergency Services go on strike until the energy freeze cap is frozen. Many are quite rightly scared to death of the reported increases and many who have no hope of paying their bills will face mental illnesses and severe depression!

I hope the country is brought to its knees so the energy companies are reigned in! Other countries in the EU are not getting all this
s hite and our reliance on Russian energy is far less than most!

Sunak says it’s worrying times for us all apart from his yours truly!

Yep.......all those pensioners who can’t get public transport to hospital appointments and then get buried in midwinter are going to be loving all these strikes.

Hip, hip, hooray.......let’s all go on strike!

People need to get a perspective, we are talking ourselves into a nightmare scenario the likes of which most have never witnessed.

A Royal Mail strike will decimate my business but rest assured, I’ll be rooting and waving joyfully at their picket line as I drive past!

Get all that Mick but people who genuinely can’t even think of paying these costs need to take a stand! Do nothing and where do the energy companies stop - 60% increase - 120% increase etc etc! Many pensioners will already die of the cold this winter as they won’t be able to afford heating!

Best thing to happen with the NHS will be the creation of satellite doctors who charge a fee to take the pressure off. £100 fee for a doctor consultation or wait in A and E for however long it takes to be seen. I know which option many would choose!! It’s going to happen like dentistry!

We can’t afford every f u c k e r and his dog to go on strike FFS.

People in poor circumstances need targeted help........this doesn’t include rail drivers and 90% of other people who are jumping on the bandwagon.

Even as a union member in the 70’s in poorly paid shop work I wouldn’t strike, I resolved to improve my own circumstances which over time I did.

Everyone has come accustomed to getting an instant fix to life’s problems, I don’t, I’m a realist.

Why can’t the government start its own energy company, undercut all the others and operate on a non profit making basis? Energy companies should not be in the hands of private investors, especially foreign ones. Water, another example of the ludicrous policy of putting essential services in the hands of profit seekers. The Tories will never put those companies into public ownership and Labour is too incompetent to make a decent job of it. Doesn’t it all fill you with optimism?

I just hope I don’t need a lawyer any time soon!

I wonder what chant the barristers will use when on strike?
Will they use fresh painted hand signs on the picket lines?
Times are not normal for sure.
