6 games 1 win
Yes I'm being sensible, writing off the next two then, an away trip to Liecester. Now 5 losses, its sack time. Its not an over reaction but come on, I've seen more fight from a dying fly, light weight, inept, no confidence, no idea and please do not get me started on the back passing or rolling around the back four, it may give stats in your favour but you are not going to win a game doing this by Hoofing it up field, we've been done by 3 teams playing 5 at the back who are giants. Sometimes I wish we had kept Kienan!
I am obviously not calm, I'm extremely aggitated not by not winning, no one has a devine right to win unless your Man U but come on, a little bit of spirit, fight, a sense of adventure, a shot or two but on goal please, its dire, dire, dire and its tearing me apart. Yes there are more important things in life to worry about like paying your rather expensive gas and electricity bills or your health! Yes, of course but this is our club, our past time our life, its supposed to be fun but supporting this club has become torture, a bloody nightmare.....I want him gone now, why wait, I want my club back oh and Pur-slow, forget your fancy plans to increase the stadium, get a bloody team first and a decent manager, get the xxxxxxx cheque book out and please get rid of the curse that's nanny McPhee......no, it's not rant over, I have not started.....

From the get go I questioned what managerial attributes Gerrard possessed when he was conferred as coach @ A V F C (other than the “Purslow connection” )
Given our first 4 fixtures I was upbeat/bullish about our chance in these opening games this season
Its now 3 wins from our last 15 Premier League games under Gerrard
Sadly its rinse & repeat week after week or should that be weak after weak ! :blue:

We need to offer City 70m for Grealish
-
-
we dont need grealish or benteke, we need a manager. that is all.
-
Bongo, grealish would not come back, he's happy getting medals for his cameo role at Citeh. As for Benteke, Palace just sold him....
We have the players, I feel and I have said it before, something is up, they do not want to play for him. I think our Mr Gerrard is a difficult man to get on with, maybe that's why Sarr didn't come? Rumours of a rift with Ollie, major fall out with Mings, excuses after defeats, show me one player that's got fight in him right now..infortunaly he reminds me of our MD at work who likes to play God with people's lives, making personal and unpopular decisions, no long term plans, losing the will of the work force, moving people around, preventing people from doing their jobs, you know, a control freak and a bad one at that, even Gerrards side kick couldn't wait to go and who's this new guy, is he just a yes man because control freaks love yes men. Look at McCallisters face on the bench, he doesn't look arsed. Mings ill, was he he or did he not look Stevie in the eye. Infact I would ask Mr G to see if any player at the minute can look him in the eye and say 'I'm ready' because not one of them are! NOT ONE....

Under Deano our last home game was against West Ham, he dropped Mings and there was no chemistry on the pitch, players arguing with each other and it took a sending off to spark them into life. I honestly thought when Gerrard came in he'd do well, a born winner with loads of passion, a leader - and early on there were positives, winning 4 in the first 6 and competing well in the other 2 games vs the best two sides in the league. He found a way to get Ings and Watkins playing together, and at times played some great stuff (1st half vs Spurs, coming back from 2 down vs Utd, Southampton at home who were on a great run, Leeds away and winning at Brighton which we never do).
All that has disappeared, there is no swagger in us and our wins in the last 15 have come against Everton, Burnley & Norwich.
Yesterday - vs a poor WHU, no Mings, unlucky with the goal but goals win games and we ain't scoring many. The decision to put Archer on with 3 minutes to go has I think made him look like a fool - he's out of his depth.
Aston Villa - ruining your weekend since 1874 :s

Well I'm actually scared to watch the game Wednesday, it could end up a cricket score. Time to drop the likes of McGinn, Digne, Coutinho and Ings. Play a back 5/3 we have got to stop shipping goals, then and only then do you go on the offensive!

I don’t dislike Gerrard (despite his accent), in fact, I like him and I believe that he is knowledgeable about the game. So is Souness, Neville, Hoddle, Keane, and the like, but all were sh1te in the hot seat, despite what they all think/say.
Unfortunately for us, Gerrard is like a kid, who’s been let loose on an expensive toy shop trolley dash. He has no idea what to play with next, and he doesn’t have a clue what the toys can do, but hey, that doesn’t seem to matter, they’re all his, now.
He’ll play with the toys that are not really working at the moment, and use the ones in fine working order, as window dressing.
For me, he has two 90 min performances to save his job. Arse and Citeh, 5 days. Two 90 min performances of noticeable structure and desire. The results are a free hit, to a certain extent, the performances should be defining. No excuses.
(K)cop on lah.

It's easy to call for SG to be sacked (and i want him gone too) but who would replace him, Poch surely wont come to us would he? Why would Potter leave Brighton ? not sure i like the idea of Sean Dyche either as ive watched enough dire football over the last few yrs
