This is not a Christmas market its a giant beer & suasage festival. About 3 stalls selling crappy Chinese made xmas tat. Nothing traditionally German.
Then there are 22 feet long sausages in a stale bun costing £22 each or near as dammit and they want extra 50p for onions :O No craft stalls just stale cakes and sweets that were probably on sale last year. All very disappointing. steer clear if I were you. Anyway whats wrong with having a British Christmas market?
Is the proper market by the cathedral still going ?
Not sure mate I was up there on Friday but didnt go down that direction. But I don't get why the Council insist on this abysmal German market each year I never see anyone buy the tat but loads buy them extra long bratwursts, gawd knows what's in em.Quote:
