Marsching on Together

Well without much of a fanfare Leeds have dispensed with Jesse’s services and he goes the same way as compatriot Bob Bradley aka Brad Bobley. Both made very little impression on the Premier League. It may be soccer will have to go on the road before an American hits the big time over here. Who will succeed Jesse in the Elland Road hotseat. Maybe Leeds fans will be thinking the Board have left firing Jesse too late. A couple of weeks earlier they could perhaps have tried to get Sean Dyche in but he is now at Goodison. Carlos Corberan is doing well at West Brom but would he want to leave at this stage of the season when they have a good chance of getting to the play offs? He went very close to promotion with Huddersfield last year and would surely like to take the Baggies up. Marcelo Bielsa is not likely it seems to make a dramatic return to Leeds so if Corberan says no who do the Leeds board try for?

VK can start his English managerial career with a Championship winners trophy and a season in the Prem or risk it for a relegation from the Prem and a season in the Championship.

I watched them against what I do not consider to be a very good Forest team on Sunday. Leeds were clueless and in typical Leeds fashion were just plain nasty, I do like the look of young Johnson from Forest though.

They have about as much chance of snagging Vincent Kompany as I have of shagging Raquel Welch! >;)

As Outwood says, the man who would have kept them up is now in residence at Goodison, you're in a bad way when Everton are one step ahead of you. ;D

I find it quite amusing, clubs like Leeds and Everton wanting to football their way back into the top 6, back into their rightful place in Europe, then reality suddenly hits, they find it's not really about attractive, attacking football, it's not about entertaining the fans, it's about survival. In which case, seeing as Sean is no longer available, they could do worse than give Big Sam a call.

Given a choice premier league, scraping by and playing the football we had to do or playing division 2, I would pick division 2.
Hated the way Dyche had us playing, hated everything about the premier league after the novelty had worn off. Just one massively biased league. Hated the managers who couldnt give any credit when we did hang on for a draw. or nick a win.
It's just fake football to me. The top 6 or 8 or however many it was should have fkd off and gone playing the super league. Would have been miles better for all the divisons.

With Kompany it's weird as I do want us to get back there, just to see how we fair playing good football and with a better squad.

Maybe us being a YOYO team is perfect for me.

Tend to see it like you UG, after 3 seasons of PL football I gave up my ST and started watching non league instead, and I'm much happier now we're in the Championship, and that's not because we're top of it either. But, you know what, I'm sure Dyche hated the way we were playing as well, when he had decent players for the level, as in his two full Championship seasons, his teams played decent football.
