We’ll head out somewhere this afternoon but Bank Holidays to us just mean more crowds so we generally go to places when everybody’s at work. It’s a misnomer now though because there are hardly any banks to go to nowadays. Let’s rename them Frank Holidays because we could all do with one.
Would Psychiatrists work on a Frank Holiday?
Picked up a ticket for the plsyoffs on Sunday against Barnet or BorehamWood, quite a decent queue so hopefully there will be a decent crowd, tickets £20 a pop
It's nice here weather wise so going to take Coco down the Trent and let him get some fresh air but not in my usual spot as it will be busy with people enjoying the day
Drowning in photos here and I'm determined to clear the decks today because I'm working tomorrow night, so no Bank Holiday for me. I don't mind at all, I've never been a fan of them, hoards of folk and no parking normally.
Every days a Bank h Holiday for me.
Had a cracking day in the end. Morning in the greenhouse then Mrsgriff suggested the pub for a snorter so we wandered up for pie and peas and a pint. Then had a wander about Silloth this afternoon until my bad knee had had enough then on the way back home stopped in the churchyard and took the flowers off Mum’s grave (she’s in with Dad). Told the sister so she didn’t wonder where they’d gone and got told to call in so, here I am at home a bucket o’ red later feeling extremely mellow. Bloody lovely.
That's sounds like a fine day griff, out of curiosity there was potatoes n stuff with the pie n pies wasn't there?
I hope that you and your sister are coping with the sad passing of your mum
Nee spuds Chalky, just a choice of of pies with mushy peas. I had a proper Scotch pie, Mrsgriff the cheese and onion, but with pickle instead on account of her not liking mushy peas, the heathen.
Ta Chalky, we’re fine and helping other family members through it.
