Congrats from a Wrexham fan

Hi guys.

Felt compelled to put a message out to you guys after what has been both an incredible season from us (Wrexham) & Notts.

You made this season completely torturous for us to the point of borderline anxiety watching scores most Saturdays, we have two conflicting brands of football which was incredible to watch a few weeks back.

Anyway, just wanted to say I am rooting for Notts as is a number of Wrexham fans I know, at half time yesterday I thought this is typically where it ends for runners up, but I think you can go into the final with confidence knowing if they score first then the fat lady hasn’t sung until FT.

Complete respect to you guys, I have been so invested to the point of listening to Pavis Perspective as have enjoyed to listen to what the guys have been saying about us during the run in.

I have utmost confidence you will get the job done, it’s written in the stars.

Yesterday was to be expected as we don't do 'easy'. This was pure Hollywood and Ryan Reynolds and Co. must be thinking about making a spin off series. He could call it 'Notts for the faint hearted'

Thanks for that message - let's hope this is the start of a beautiful rivalry (though Wrexham are obviously better equipped to make that journey up the leagues quicker than Notts). At this stage, I'll settle for getting our league status back next week.

Thanks Twirl91, and very true about giving us heart if we should go a goal or two down in the final. It might make even some of our more flakey fans feel the same lol.

Thanks chap… we’ve only got to beat the most despised team in the NL now, and we’re home and dry.

Morning lads and lasses,

I bet there is a few sore heads this morning, well as I predicted you did it.

I was watching from a family BBQ (very anti-social of me) and I said to my mother in law who is also an avid Wrexham nut at 2-1 that you just can’t rule County out and we fancy them to still win this, and then the master stroke of hooking Slocombe for the pens, you have a seriously impressive manager, as do we I believe.

Absolutely over the moon you got over the line with us, I feel now it’s confirmed and we will be competing again I will have to put my ‘I don’t like that Notts lot’ hat back on ;).

Seriously, huge congrats and justice has been served ensuring the two best teams in the conference are now Football League, great to have you on the other side but I really hope you don’t give us as many sleepless nights on our quest for League 2 promotion.

I've got to say I was also very impressed listening to Mullin as a pundit on BT Sport.

Everyone who has seen him play knows what he is about, but I thought he came across very well and you could see the football knowledge and clarity of thought behind his on-pitch exploits.

Hopefully we'll both be competing at the top again next year and I can get back to 'hating' him in a pantomime villain kind of way!

Always loved Mullin… wish we’d signed him years ago.

Just about to post the same thing, twirl probably missed it but the banter & respect he showed for our manager & Langstaff made him come across very well, I believe that we all respect what a good ,though annoying player he is, but it seems off the pitch Mullins is a genuinely nice bloke. It will be good to resume our friendly rivalry with Wrexham next season. COYP
