Us and the Blades are ****ed, I think it may well be Forest who are joining us. :blue:
Seems a fair assessment BT, all the others are collecting points though palace are stuttering a bit.
I still think we have a chance but it's very slim.
23 games to play yet, 69 points up for grabs and just 4 points away from safety, 7 teams in the bottom half of the league still to play at Turf Moor, we've already beaten Forest, Luton and Sheffield United, we were leading West Ham with only 4 minutes to go and we were one poor pass away from getting a draw at Molyneux against a decent mid table team in Wolves.
Bloody hell lads get a grip, we're not down yet, nowhere near, there's a long, long way to go. They didn't even start panicking on the Titanic until half an hour after they hit the iceberg. I recommend a nice cup of tea snd a lie down in a darkened room, everything will seem better after that. O:)
Well said Sinkov-I admire your optimism.Myself, I cannot wait for us to get back to winning ways in the Championship.Koleoscho being injured does not make a whole lot of difference in my opinion.Yes he was very quick and created problems but actual goals and assists were minimal.Without a recognised number 9 we have no goal threat.JRod cannot be expected to lead the line in this league at his age.Add to that a defence that makes just enough mistakes that are immediately punished by the opposition and the writing is on the wall.I cannot see us getting 25 points never mind 35 points.
I'm not particularly optimistic CiB, I certainly wouldn't put money on us staying up, and like you I wouldn't mind another season in the Championship. I'm just trying to be realistic about our situation, it's not good, but certainly not hopeless, and we are improving, that's all I'm saying.
I don't think Crystal Palace and Bournemouth are safe yet.
