Spent 15 years in Bacup in my younger days.
1st local was the Flowers until Barnsley Bob Gant bared me. I then moved south down to the Wellington, followed by Mannings Snookers. Moved west when Stannard opened Horaces
We may have crossed paths then, i went in the Welly a lot and the Flowers less so but also frequented Horaces though to no avail. I actually met my wife in the new Inn after years of cruising night clubs in Burnley, Blackburn, Nelson, Rochdale and Heywood.Quote:
