Absolute scenes at Silverstone as he wins a record breaking 9th British GP. No driver has ever won 9 at a single track before.
Unbelievable he’s not won a race since 2021.
And £20 at 9/2 makes it that bit sweeter for me.

Absolute top tier figure across all sports. Gutting for Lando today but made up to see Lewis take yet another record.
I've heard the people of Silverstone are complaining about the traffic, the noise and the inconvenience to their village lives ;D
The GOAT it’s not in doubt.
What a fantastic driver and professional 👏👏👏
Loved every minute of it. The ending was as dramatic as I've seen for a long time. I was counting down the second gap between Lewis and Max and I have to say with 6 laps to go it was brilliant right up to the chequered flag.
I still think Lewis should be 9 times World Champion but we all know he was disgracefully cheated out of that. Thing is and like Scum-T posted, he's set a new World record for winning 9 times on any single track, an absolutely fantastic achievement.
The biggest amazing stat of the day is that it is 16 years since he first won at Silverstone, now that takes some doing to keep in peak fitness ands still be driving like he does today.
I lived a couple of miles from the Silverstone track for about a decade back in the 80s/90s. Race build up started the Monday before and always culminated in long traffic queues especially Fri/Sat/Sun. Locals who didn't like it could leave on holiday and rent out their houses for the week to more than pay for it. The convoy of helicopters into the track for the drivers/rich and famous would start at first light, continue right up to to just before the race start and recommence just after the race ended right up until dusk. Most locals loved it, especially the pub landlords for miles around who whose takings in race week would better the total takings for the other 51 weeks of the year.
Traffic not as bad as years ago. Plenty of park and ride with dedicated bus lanes.
If someone said we're going to any motor sport I'd try to set the sat nav so we got lost! May as well get old scalextric set out! Summer sport now can't get into it like back in the day I just look at the NH horseracing results for abit of interest.
