Tony Stewart's Tactical Ploy / Strategy to Sell Season Tickets Next Season ?

Could Tony Stewart have a cunning plan with a maneuver to sell season tickets next season,
after bringing in Steve Evans has manager for the 2024-25 season, which helped season
ticket sales, with the hype of the Miller's would be a force for promotion from league one.

The season ticket sales were healthy, but the management team brought in has floundered,
with what should have been a promotion push, becoming a relegation battle.
The club now has a virus of mismanagement, with Steve Evans being the bug, that carried
on the rot from a previous manager Taylor, but Steve Evans has now brought the club down
to a all time low, with his actions, players being slagged off, his public relations with fellow
managers / head-coaches is a disgrace at times, tactical blunders with players played out
of position.

Action to stop the rot - Sack Steve Evans & Paul Raynor

Remedy -
A tactical ploy to keep season ticket sales healthy for the 2025-26 & bring fans back on side
would be to bring in ex-Millers player Richard Wood has manager, & give him a chance to turn
things around.
To look back, Paul Warne was promoted to manager, not having experience, but it worked.

While bringing new blood into the club, in Richard Wood, another addition should be a new
chief executive officer, who knows football & finance, in that Paul Douglas should be retired
from the job.

Not for me. Paul Warne is clearly very intelligent. Despite playing the clown in the media and admittedly struggling in his first season, he became a manager. When I look at Wood I don’t see the same.

As for Paul Douglas - I don’t know the man but I suspect Richard Branson would struggle to be a success as CEO given the calibre of the Chairman.

I don't know what Paul Douglas actually does, I don't know the ins and outs of what his job entails and what is expected of him, I suspect the vast majority of us on here don't know either. Just because we don't know what he does, doesn't mean he's doing it wrong or badly. I have a suspicion that the man may be we working with one hand tied behind his back, or maybe even both. Unless you know for definite he's not doing his job properly than I think it's wrong to call for him to lose it. For me he's just an easy target.

As for Richard Wood, I was a big fan of him as a player and it'd be great to see him back at the club in some capacity in the future, but he isn't the next Paul Warne. Does Wood even have all the coaching badges required to be a manager under EFL rules. You can't just appoint an ex player and give him a go, They need to have the correct qualifications. We got VERY lucky with Warne and a lot of people who were constantly critical of him and his methods are probably finally realising just how good a job he actually did.

I do agree that there has to be a change in the club somewhere, it's broken at the minute and can't continue as it is. The fans seem more apathetic than angry which is what the club really needs to worry about, once people stop caring then the club is only heading one way.

Paul Warne did not have all his badges, so obtained them during his tenancy.
I do believe Richard Wood is taking or has taken his badges, when I spoke to Paul Warne & Richard Wood at a mates
funeral, I mentioned about this to them.

Spot on. Many on here slag off PD without any knowledge of what the man does let alone what he does badly.

Like I said, I don't know exactly what his role entails and what he has the final say on so I'm not going going to be critical of him because my criticism would be uninformed, but if you know what he does and that he's definitely doing it wrong then I'll have to take your word for it.

What I would say Masbroughstreet, is that surely Tony Stewart has the final say on money allocated.
But Paul Douglas has been associated with transfers, contracts etc.
The Millers have been hit quite a few times in giving out long contracts, under valuing players when sold,
with one big mistake was the Blackstock saga, which cost the club money.
The club don't have a person on the board, who has football knowledge.

She maybe signs money off, when told to.
