When will we get a striker ???

Just when are we going to be linked with a striker. These continuous nil Nil's will come to bite us if we dont do some business in this window. The rest of the rest of the squad looks ok but the lack of a striker and no news or rumour concerns me. I do realise these types of player do not come cheap but we have to take an opportunity soon

One further point is that Luca seems to have lost all belief in himself and currently is sulking around the pitch. If he doesn't learn and quick to stop cutting in and every time losing the ball he will soon be out of the squad.

We have Flemming, Foster, Rodriguez and Barnes, most Championship teams would think they had won the lottery with that roster to choose from. ;D

I don't think so BT. Two 35 yr olds and two unproven !

Until we stop messing around in our own 18 yard box and stop playing most passes backwards - you could sign the next Thierry Henry and it wouldn’t make a difference.

We have no confidence to go at teams properly in their final third of the pitch - tbf what chance have we got when people are on players backs for trying to go at people.

Koleosho quick / direct needs to play and improvement on decision making and final ball ( accepted ) but he’s berated on here and Parker drops him.

My question would be when he does his job and splits defences etc can we get forwards attacking the ball - we don’t do it. ( must be frustrating for Koleosho tbh as the midfield wants to play safe and backwards when he wants to go at people. ).

As for Rodriguez and Barnes on BT s post they are not setting the championship on fire hence why Rodriguez doesn’t play a lot and Barnes has only come back as a bit part ( maybe a view to coach in future )

All striker s rely on service - I watched foster make numerous offers on Friday but was not given the ball to run onto when making the runs

I’m not against a forward who can score but we have to change the way we supply them otherwise it’s wasted money anyway - you only have to look at the opposition on Friday to see how effectively to play the game there forwards stretched out back line as much as they could outside / inside etc etc.

We play all our football in the main in front of their centre backs and full backs it’s easy to play against us.

I chuck in a bit of line bait on a cold, miserable Monday morning and bag a netful.

Tbh BT I get people s frustration and I appreciate you fishing a bit , I just don?t think a Morgan Whitaker for example will change our circumstances ( I know he?s a wide man really ).

If we play against Leeds like we did against Sunderland they?ll destroy us - though Brownhill can?t have as bad a game again I don?t think

My thing is if we?re getting a goalscorer you need to feed him chances otherwise like all others on here he?ll be *******ised for not scoring the 1-2 chances he gets. ( Weghorst springs to mind )

Just what I'm thinking army, I have no worries about us at Plymouth, but do I not like the prospect of Leeds at home next Monday.

It could be the begging of the end Sinkov in that if we play like the Sunderland debacle and get murdered the boos will start and it could de rail our season and Parker?s.

However as with everything Burnley we?ll probably do the opposite and win 3-1 playing like world beaters and all will be rosy Tuesday.
