Second half of first half ok but spaces are too big and we aren?t mobile enough when they?re in possession centrally - needed ugo to stop the Dane making his runs
Please don?t anyone slag Foster off today he?s done very well on his own up there and link up play good.
Looking for more from Anthony and Hannibal
Game passes them by because of the spaces in midfield
It's not the Championship is it? :blue:
It's going to be a long hard season; I have to say I hate this league.
I would be more concerned if I was a West Ham fan getting beat 3-0 away to newly promoted Sunderland
Agree Army, Walker as per last England game he played is no CB but a decent RB. Sonne offered nowt, didn't feature last season so that experiment gone wrong. Ekdal same as really. Edwards needs to start if we are to create and score. Foster a positive for me. No protection from ref regarding Romero.
Lesley Ugo looked decent and solidified it centrally as expected. Early doors and a tough opener.
Sonne,Ekdal, and Laurent in the starting eleven-I thought I was seeing things.
Spurs second was a worldie. Richarkison will not score many better.
The team worked hard and there were time when we challenged Spurs. However, one massive difference at this level is that chances are taken. We struggle with that - not clinical.
Also some poor decisions. Trying long range shots on free-kicks spring to mind. It has to be very special at this level. Get it into the mix and see what happens. Also with their first goal Est?ve should have put it in Row Z. No point in trying to be cute. Allow the team to reset.
Overall, I thought we did well - certainly at times.
