I certainly dinnae live in a cold one.
My gas and electric is £100.86 per month, roughly £500 in credit
Was listening to radio today and folk phoning up about utility price rises......
Now 2 or 3 of these folk said standing order was £750, one £888 and another £1012 per month.....the £1012 ane lived in 5 bedroom Victorian terraced hoose.
Does my body operate at a lower temperature or are people really paying £12 k per year for gas and leccy......I find theses figures astonishing.

I think I'm less than 150 quid a month in a three bedroom Victorian house with an EV charger that plugs into my car most nights and I'm 400 quid in credit - winter sorted.
I watched a bit on BBC Breakfast this morning about people complaining their houses are too hot just now because of the weather. One woman, probably at least 20 stone, whinging that it costs more to run fans to keep her cool in the summer than it does to heat her place in the winter. Of course there seems to be a very obvious answer to that one, lose some weight and your over heating problem is gone.
But it's obvious from looking at this tye of person that they're the ones who sit at home all day with fans on all summer and heating all winter, probably cooking (well, heating up sh1te food) six or seven times every day and running up huge bills. Whilst us more normal people only use these things when we absolutely have to and keep our bills at a normal and sustainable level.
They'll try to blame it on climate issues of course when it's very clearly a social issue.

Honestly if you are paying a grand a month.....you either need the heating on for health reasons.....constantly spring and summer, you're a mad bint ( see deranged post above ) you don't know how to work you're central heating or you're hoose is insulated with air and you like a windee open.

?128 a month and around ?600 in credit, never skimp on heating in the winter and use tumble drier when needs be, by the way, those utility companies must be sitting on some amount of customers money with these average credit amounts.
?148 p month for me at present on a deal until January. Utilities company sitting on ?1k of my money in credit. For the life of me if can't figure out how anyone can spend ?1k a month on Gas/Electricity unless they live in a mansion or a castle.
My heating clicks on when it goes below 19.5 degrees.
Radiators in main rooms set at 3 bedrooms at 2.
I actually went back and listened to clip to make sure I hadn't misheard.....I hadn't.
