When you take into account the injuries we have and the lack of desire shown by the players in midweek v Huddersfield, then it's hard to imagine any outcome other than a defeat today, but you never know.

Hamshaw tells us that we have players returning from injury which is obviously welcome news but on the other hand, I read on here that Gore and Powell aren't available. So it will be interesting to see today's line up and whether or not the manager persists with wing backs.

We've got Wimbledon after this game followed by Northampton which, if we lose today, are looking like must win games. Exeter away comes afterwards which is probably a must not lose game.

Huge fixtures are coming down the track for this football club. Do the players have the ability and mentality to get us out of this mess? Today might give us a clue.

End of season they're out of a job so it's lazy time again for some of them. Just picking up a wage with the 'so what' attitude as was shown at Huddersfield. Is Hamshaw to blame for that also? I don't think he is, it's the way of the modern mercenary footballer.

It's only a skip over to Stockport so I would expect a 1000 plus to attend from us. If it falls way below that, then our own fans are also voting with their absence showing that this is simply just not good enough.

I will ask one burning question. Had the massive injury list happened to say Warney/Evans, would they have done any better with what Hamshaw has had at his disposal this season?

Can?t see anything else but a defeat ! No Powell, Douglass, Gore, no left footers ! Midfield consists of three defensive players Kelly, McWilliams and Yearwood, not a lot going forward there ? Caleta and Holmes wing backs ? can?t expect much there also ! If Rafferty and Holmes are the custodians of the right side it could get embarrassing? Who is on corners and free kicks ? admittedly can?t be much worse than all season.
