This season is far from over!

As we are in a relegation fight we have still a chance to get behind the team and cheering survival is something we have all experienced.
Last season we managed it by changing the manager and this season it culd still happen but it is less likely. The injury crisis at the club could be a thing of the past. The results could and should turn around.

We have amazingly 63 points to play for!!!

We have 24 points already so the 50 points needed is easily acheivable.

What game do you think that we will acheive League one status for next season?

I am going to go for the Port Vale away fixture on the 6th of April. But I am including the postponed fixtures being played before that date.

I think we will be safe with 4 games to play!

Frog,i agree, but we must have a run of games now where all the better players are available, and no more effing injuries.

Factor into the equation other teams around us at the foot of the table wanting, nay desperate, to start next season in League One.
Plus declining crowd attendances at NYS doesn't bode well either.
Are people now going to spend money to watch further suffering and despair?
I didn't renew my ST after there was no movement in the football transfer market January 2025 to help bolster our squad.
According to reports the budget had been blown by that time.
Most of us know who the manager was at that time.
Sound familiar?
It's groundhog day all over again.

We would have to go on at least a ten match unbeaten run to have a chance of staying in League One. Other teams would have to lose their games to allow that to happen.

No point in criticizing the players or management. Their hands, in my opinion, are tied.
The man with the answers doesn't want to communicate with the stakeholders.
No live fans forum, with TS present, coming to the NYS any time soon.

Or just win a handful. We need to average slightly over a point a game from here, so a small number of wins would offset losses. There's no reason we'd need some miracle run.

We need to perform like a 11th place team to stay up, and you are correct that is possible. In my opinion it is highly unlikely because MH is useless, stubborn and being a decent coach doesn't make you a good manager, tactically not sure he is a good coach either, with big boot, poor set pieces in game decisions.
Secondly we do not have the support structure to deal with injuries, the return time for injuries is a big factor and the number of times we are seeing repeat injuries shows there are fundamental issues in training, medical and fitness infrastructure. MH says there isn't and PD confirms that MH hasn't escalated the issue to him as COO.
Thirdly our owner is not willing or able to increase the investment in playing staff. 22nd Jan and we are minus two players in the window, with a clear statement that others will be leaving.
The odds are clearly against us and that is why the bookies had us down as favourites to be relegated even after a recent 9 game unbeaten run, the state of the club is clearly known outside of the club.

How can anyone possibly know what TS is doing in the background? We haven't a clue what the recruitmnet team/Hammy are up to, who they've spoken to or whatever. It's all over the place that we are chasing the lad from Norwich, it's not a closed door yet on One' not coming to us from S2.

Let things unfold, transfers take time they don't happen with a click of the fingers. I'm also concerned with only 11 days left in the transfer window but a lot can change in that time. We know how we perform in the January window but don't throw the towel in yet pal.

NB. To answer Frogs question, I'll go 11th April Barnsley at home. Not saying we'll win it, I'm banking on other results going our way.

On what you have said about Hamshaw there being useless and stubborn. If we do stay up comfortably and he sticks to his way of play will you still think he is useless and stubborn?

Do you think that we won't survive?

I like the positive outlook but think it?s misplaced. Obviously I want us to stay up but don?t think we will . Maybe let?s wait until the end of the transfer window and see who?s left and who?s come in then we might have a better idea.
