Five defeats in a row for Charlton now as Sheffield Wednesday enter the play-offs after this win. Most of these defeats are to teams at either in the automatic promotion, play-off places or thereabouts.

Still there was a time when Charlton were able to graft a win against teams at the upper end of the table but without two key strikers are lacking a goal threat, though Stockley did play the 2nd half, and conceding too many goals. The team are in serious of danger of being drawn into a relegation battle unless they find a glimpse of some form.

JJ will have to look at his squad again and play the grafters not the time wasters. Dobson, Morgan are names that try but some of the others have been more than disappointing.
