It's being seriously mooted Supersub6. I hope I see the evolution of a new Socialist party before I meet my maker.

Not so mon ami, the latest polls are predicting a Labour government after the next election and I suspect they may well be right. You might spit your dummy out over it, but adopting the National Anthem, kicking out the anti-semites and the Loony Left plays well with the majority of normal, ordinary voters. Liz has about 12 months for her tax cuts to start benefitting the economy, or she and her government are toast.
I am sure that you must know enough similar minded people with strong political views who would be interested. All you need to do then is to get the militaant Trade Union leaders to give you some funding, probably also helped by the Grauniad and the BBC and all these protest groups ---there must be millions of people would join you.
They've tried it Sub, it was called Momentum.
"Momentum is a people-powered, vibrant movement. We aim to transform the Labour Party, our communities and Britain in the interests of the many, not the few."
i wonder what happened to that ? B)
I'm sure it does Sub, some horses running across a field for a couple of minutes can hardly be classed as a spectator sport. I spend very little time actually watching horses race against each other, my time is spent on researching and putting into practice various methods and systems for transferring small amounts of money from bookmakers bank accounts into my bank account. It's a bit like doing a crossword or a jigsaw puzzle, and when all the pieces fall into place it's very satisfying and profitable.
Other sports I have enjoyed and followed teams all over the country, besides Cricket and Football, are Speedway, Ice Hockey and Basketball, I watched quite a bit of Union at La Rochelle when we were in France, but try as I might, League just washes right over me, don't know why, sport has always played a big part in my life, it just is what it is.
I'll tell you what happened to that little enterprise sinkov, the tail wanted to wag the dog and it just caused splinter groups and factions. John Lansman wanted to direct the orchestra instead of just playing in it.
I went to a couple of the Momentum meetings in my role as an elected CLP officer and was made about as welcome as a fart in a space suit. "Singing from the same hymn sheet" as the CLP's and the PLP was never in Momentum's ideology. It handed the right-wing media Corbyn's head on a plate IMHO.
Comrades my arse. The PLP also had Ian Lavery seemingly hell bent on causing division and strife and I believe Boris played a blinder by redrawing the boundary lines and removing his constituency up in the North-east.
A party with the objectives of Mick Lynch and Jeremy Corbyn is what us Socialists need but quite frankly the likes of Starmer and Truss will hold the political centre ground for years to come.
400,000 monarchists each queueing for over 12 hours to view a flag draped over a box, the Labour party singing "God save the King" before Conference does not augur well for a return to left wing politics in this country sinkov.
Oh dear BT, I would have a lot more time for these Trade Union leaders if they each forfeited their pay for every day that they call the workers out on strike, however, there isn't a snowflake in hell's chance of that happening because they have to maintain their affluent lifestyle which is paid for by the workers who go wthout on those days ----no matter what eventually happens.
Just a note about Ian Lavery, who you mentioned on the earlier post. His constituency has not changed at all, I know that because he is my MP. What has changed is that it was always reported that he lived in Ashington which is part of his constituency etc., etc. This is not true because he now lives in the Ponteland and Darras Hall area which is where the super rich north easterners live. Not bad for an ex-miner and miners' union leader who somehow managed to acquire funding from what appears to be a very devious route.
He will be okay becaue he is a good mate of Jeremy and they will be plotting something.
