Doesn't Fawaz sponsor the shirts? Why doesn't he just up that sponsorship by 9 million and then you instantly comply with the FFP limit. If he has billions, 9 million is a mere drop in the ocean compared to what a transfer embargo could mean.

The difference between Forest and Leicester is about the size of the Grand Canyon in terms of on and off the field.
The Leicester owners have purchased the ground and written off 85m which had been owed to them. The club is therefore virtually debt free.
Credit to their owners.
I've not seen your published accounts but the headline figures don't look great.
17m losses speak for themselves, around 1.5m a month. With player purchases this season this figure is likely to increase.
35.4m is owed to Fawaz in the form of interest free loans, so you will need to pay that back at some point. Again, this is likely to have increased.
Whilst the accounts show a 'significant' portion of the short term debt out of the 85m owed to the Doughty estate was capitalised it remains to be seen how much is still owed, not sure but doesn't read as some on here expected, many said this had been written off.
And you still don't even own your own ground! So very little in terms assets.
If you don't
it's irrelevant this season cause FFP does not come into effect till next season, our only problem is as Hoodie said IF we don't make promotion we could find ourselves in the s*** due to the lack of TV money ect,Quote:

Because you are not allowed to. Any sponsorship from businesses connected to ownership groups must be reasonable compared with other clubs in that division.Quote:

I'm afraid the football league is looking down the wrong road in trying to penalise the clubs. It's the players and agents that need looking at. Both are the leeches of the beautiful game. Wage caps for each league is the only way forwards, not FFP
