Michael Duff sacked
Michael Duff and assistant Martin Paterson have left the club.
First-team coach Alan Sheehan has taken over temporarily. A former Rep of Ireland left-back he gave up playing in Jan 22 and became first team coach at Luton Town under Nathan Jones and followed him to Southampton. They only lasted three months and he was dismissed along with Jones and eventually linked up with Duff at Swansea.
Ominously for us, Nathan Jones yesterday pulled out at the last minute from taking over at Rotherham.

Where do we go from here?
Please not Cardiff City supporting Nathan Jones. He was a big flop at Stoke and Southampton and his only success was at Luton.
-
Even though it was half expected it still came as a shock. I too hope it’s not Nathan Jones, always remember him over-celebrating down here when Luton scored and beat us.
What about John Eustace, fired at Birmingham when doing so well there to make way for Rooney?
What about Cameron Toshack?
I think all Swans fans want a manager that will let us play the Swansea Way that Martinez initially started.
-
I thought we’d give him until the end of the month but the must win Huddersfield home match saw us struggling to score and some of the crowd reaction at the end when they booed us off triggered the decision to get rid.
I also want a manager that lets us play expansive, possession based football.
Who that could be I don’t know, someone from the continent?

Here’s one that will return us to the Swansea Way. I give you Chris Davies, but would he come back? Read this article about him -
