From a selfish point of view, a four-game Christmas from December 23-Jan 2 is absolutely cracking - if we're able to watch it!
On a more general point, our start is potentially brilliant or disastrous - obviously a long way to go but there's the chance to rack up 10/11 points from the first 15 games to really set us up nicely. If we don't get that, however, it puts a lot of pressure on the 'tougher' games to come.
If we can cut out dropping points like we did last season to teams we played off the park at times. Ross County and Accies and St. Mirren we will potentially have the chance to have a great start to the season.
Here's the thing ...
- we've recruited as well as we've ever done these past few years IMO, and the lay of the land looks more than decent.
- we get to the end of August and it's a top of table clash with Sellik.
- roll on to late February '21 and we win the league by default when the 2nd wave kicks in, and fitbaw globally shuts down once more
- gimme that asterisk any year !!!
