RIP horrible news. Too close to home now, as you say, 57.
We will all have our day but 80 isn't too bad I suppose considering the amount of people I know who got nowhere near that age .rest in peace I'm sure you'd life was fulfilled and you had a ball.
In 1988, he described the 25th anniversary of the Stones as “5 years of playing drums and 20 of hanging around”.
His jazz stuff is top dollar.
