Life after death or death before life.

They say that you are closer to your past life in the first two or three years of this one.
I know that when I was very young the coming of the dark night's and the sound of factory sirens filled me with dread.
I also felt the same when I saw a fire engine.
These things quickly passed as I got older, and now Autumn is my favourite season.
But I often wonder if I had lived a previous life during the Blitz, or if it was genetically related being as both my parents spent their childhood nights in air raid shelters in 1940-41.
Considering that everything in the universe is recycled and we are basically stardust, why shouldn't it be the case?
