As is often the case in these encounters at the Valley, Charlton started off brightly and Leaburn stepped up to the plate in the right place at the right time with an instinctive tap in. There were then both chances on both sides Rak Saki and Fraser coming close. In the second half Wycombe put Charlton under more sustained pressure and got the late goal as the Add1cks fell away a bit. Maynard Ashley Brewer made two great late saves to deny Wycombe a second goal and deserves a mention here.
