Charlton record a well deserved scrappy win against a well organised and drilled Wigan side who never deserved to drop down a division.

With a new look side to start off the Saandgard era, Jake Forster-Caskey scored the solitary winning goal in the 2nd half but plaudits must go too to Ben Amos for keeping a clean sheet.
