Quite a few of our young uns are on £10K a week. I fear we'll lose them if there's a £125K a year cap. Who will we get to replace them? We will only be able to get players to take their place as opposed to properly replacing them.

I cant see this happening Maddy.
The proposals over wages are something that hits every single club,
I understand the % of your income caps. But how you spend it, really is down to the club itself.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a legal challenge made before long.
More EFL madness causing ripples.
I ahve had a further dig around and it seems the EFL withdrew the salary cap for the 21/22 season after the professional footballers association went to an independent arbitration panel who ruled it unlawful.
So that should ease some concerns, though there is still the financial plan on expenditure that the EFL will require Derby's new owner to agree to prior to formal takeover. Can't see us spending millions, but a better prospect than it might have been.
Perhaps there is a moral there, if we don't have the cash to splash on so called "star" players, then we might just pick up some decent players who can be form a decent team?
We have certainly bought some dubious players for high prices, agents must have loved the club in past few years.
