Almost there.... takeover done!

The worrying part for for me is the 'contractualy obliged' bit for both parties with both waiting on the other to see who blinks first, in my simplistic world surely the Sheikh is in breach of contract due to not having the funds, trouble is Mel really does want out so will not want to go down that legal road so is still hopeful a deal can be done, unfortunately the Sheikh also knows this so knows he has all the time in the world to get his s*** together and buy the club, trouble is how long can he keep the club hanging but surely there has to come a point where it after a period of time the contract is voided and both parties just walk away

Well written article that doesn’t tell Derby fans anything they didn’t already know.

Its all gone very quiet and here we are in March with no mention of whats happening. One has to think this is dead in the water.

John Percy tweeted earlier in the week that an announcement was expected within a week with regard to the takeover. Something to the effect that our suitor has been given an ultimatum to put up or shut up and there are people waiting in the wings, one USA and a European one....... the Euro one recently got turned down by Sheff Wed....... so he's probably not the best man for the job.
