Great signing from non-league Burton Albion by Cloughie! Could he score Goals at the higher level we asked ourselves, the answer was a resounding yes.
Had a lengthy managerial career after he retired from playing. Met him once, lovely man.
RIP Ritchie and thanks for the memories.
Met Richie when I was doing a book signing for my book. Lovely friendly chap, he didn't realise I was in awe of him as someone who'd contributed to The Cause, and asked ME to sign my book for HIM! RIP Richie, lets hope the pitches have improved in Heaven.
