Just watched the first half of the game V Las Palmas. In a word dreadful, only a "friendly" I know but still. No shape, nothing going forward and crap at the back. Hope second half is better.
Playing Stoke today. Coady back in the lineup. Danny Batth scored (because of course he did) but Jimenez equalized shortly after
One that hasn't been mentioned was that on Tuesday 27 July we beat Al Shabab Saudi FC with goals from Campbell and Jimenez penalty, in Marbella. This one seems to have slipped under the radar and so Jimenez' goal against Stoke was not his first since his head injury.
Good to see him back in the team!
Playing Coventry today, Silva puts us up in the 7th minute
Neves puts us up 0-2, but Hoever fouls his man in the box and Coventry convert the pen to make it 1-2.
Fun fact: Coventry are playing their first game in their home stadium in a few years. Last two seasons they played at St Andrew’s because of finances
Last friendly before the season starts against Celta Vigo today. First half was apparently dreadful, conceded a penalty as well. Wolves have been better team and dominating in the second half but no goal yet.
