Week 3.
Another weekend of fixtures played and we have another new leader topping the table. Well done to mygiddypant, who along with Wendun bagged the 10 bonus points for correctly predicting 22 goals would be scored from the fixtures played. CAM was oh so close but sadly no ceegar.
A special mention goes to Millerstale who correctly forecast 6/9 fixtures and was the best predictor overall. That pushed him up and out of the bottom three. The wooden spoon award this week is taken up by Nardendee who scored a big fat zero and sits all alone at the foot of the table. Once again the draws bailed a lot of us out.

Millerstale, totally hear what you're saying and this was debated before the season started. Last season the table was far too cramped with everyone scoring near enough the same scores week after week. In order to stop it being so boringly predictable this season, I have added numerous bonus points that can be earned.Quote:

It's a fair platform for anyone to bag 10 points by correctly guessing the total goals scored, so we all have the same chance of winning them before a ball is even kicked. Imagine if you had also picked the bonus correctly, you'd be top by now. It is all down to chance and luck, you never know you well achieve it next week. I'm only 9 points off the top of the table but I've not won the bonus points so, you can actually be in touch with the fore runners and it's a long season. I'm just waiting to pounce when I hit the bonus points ;D
Plus brin makes up his own rules so it's not a good idea to rock the boat millerstale. You could end up on the naughty step. ����������
I accept its Brins comp and rules and I certainly will not lose any sleep and would not expect any rule changes mid comp but Brin says it’s chance and luck but I would prefer it to be more on skill 🤔 surely somebody who gets ten predictions correct, no draws, should receive more points than one guesstimate on the number of goals scored ? 😉Quote:
