The FA peddle the myth that they’ve got that element back under control and that England supporters abroad are much better behaved now as they’ve weeded out and stop the nutters from travelling. As we’ve seen, at home they can do phuck all about it and it was worse than it’s possibly ever been. Make no mistake, this could well have an effect on the UK World Cup 2030 bid and so thanks to those eejits we may not get to see the World Cup played on Scottish soil. And as for Marcus Rashford - you’re way above this mate. Retire from international football and concentrate on your Club career son. You don’t need to take that crap.
On the football side, totally delighted by Sunday’s events and incredible credit goes to Italy. There are few teams who could have gone into that absolute bear pit, fall behind early, yet still fight on and emerge victorious. As for THEM, once again as soon as they came up against someone anywhere near half decent they fell way short - Italy should have done for them in normal time let’s face it. Indeed, the whole match was almost a carbon copy of the Croatia semi. But, if they get yet another jammy draw and a succession of pub teams to smash they may yet be not a kick ass off going far next year so we may yet have a re-run in just 16 months.
Roll on the World Cup 2022 thread!
