After the excitement of last week where Grist smashed a 10/10, we return with a damp squib of results that just about wiped us all out.
The home bankers, Wolves, Leeds and Bournemouth were the main culprits but never mind, at least 10 games were played.

Mike Reid use to shout, 'runaround now' so they have and Millerstale reclaims the top spot from the Frog. It's all tight up there so who's going to be top dog next weekend?

The Shout outs:
Ericsladfromkilnhurst finally cracks it with extra points and slams in a 15 pointer, well done. Another mention goes to CTMilller as he
managed double digits delivering 10 points, and like Ericslad both jump a few places.

Goal Bonus: Correctly predicting 23 goals all on his own was Ericsladfromkilnhurst.

Wooden Spoon holder: A very low scoring week for many but out there on his own with 1 point was Millersrus

When Brin started the predict the results of football matches, I thought I would name a goal tally, when I got a correct answer, I would change my goal tally.
The first week of the competition I correctly forecast 24 goals, so I changed on the next week to a goal tally of 23 goals, which have never been a correct tally, until last Saturday.
So to change my goal tally or not ?

Ericslad, I had 26 for along time but moved it up to 27 and it's paid dividends more than enough. Your choice pal but if it don't squeak......

As they turn off the last floodlights at Old Trafford the results are in. What is happening with Liverpool these days? Will it soon be Clipperty KLOPP and the chop for the big German? Personally, I think they'll turn it back on soon.

Anyway back to the Prediction League and it's all change at the top again. Your's truly, with the aid of another goal bonus, resumes the role of top dog until next weekend. Must admit this magic number 27 has paid me dividends of late so can't complain.

The Shout outs: Out on his own with no extra bonus points, AvondaleMiller scored 9 points with a credible 7/10 predictions correct and, that moves him up to = 2nd. Well done for that.

Nardendee with his score and bonus scored 17 points so, propelled himself up several places. Adventus 2012 followed suit on 16 points and got himself off the foot of the table, well done.

Goal Bonus: Three of us, Adventus2012, Nardendee and myself claimed the magic number 27 so, bag an extra 10 points for our guesstimate. It was very close indeed with loads being a goal either side of 27. Thank you Cavani for planting that header onto the post!

Wooden Spoon holders: Three this time around and in no certain order, CTMilller, Howdydoo and the Frog. Each scored 3 points so a spoon each chaps.

Well what a great turn out today with 25 of us having a go at predicting and, BigLadonOS joined us to push the numbers up. Well done everyone.

No one bagged the bonus goal tally and in fact, BigLadonOS was the closest with his 19 goal prediction, as a poor return of only 15 goals were scored :O

No less than 18 of us hit double digits which, when you think no bonus was added, is excellent.

The Shout outs: Millerstale, what a great effort as all his 5 draws came in, a first this season, which with the rest of his tally gave him a score of 17 points, fantastic! Not to be too outdone I bagged 15 points, Millertop and Millersrus bagged 14 with pip_y, Millernez LeedsMiller and AckwortMiller taking 13 points. The list goes on and on such was the high scoring today which, can be all checked out in the table.

Goal Bonus: No winners today.

Wooden Spoon holder: Ericsladfromkilnhurst, I feel, is cornering the market as he's bagged yet another one all on his own this time though. I think he's thinking of setting up a website where you can buy a spoon from him and get 6 mince pies free!

I'm still sat in my seat at the top but I fear Millerstale and others are mounting a full frontal to de throne me.....good luck lads ;D
