A Barrow win is going to keep both sides in League Two.
The tension at Barrow must be becoming less. Let's just ignore Colchester United. If you think that Barrow's League Two status is at risk then you believe that Southend United will get 7 points more from 6 games than Barrow get from 8 games. Southend United have not scored in 6 consecutive home games. The Barrow goal difference is 26 superior to that of Southend United.
I thought before the game any half baked performance and we will get nowt, because we have form in that respect.Barrow will be disappointed not taking their chances,we have all been there and thats any team in the country. Those moaning about the pitch is a load of crap because we never won the game.A professional footballer should be able to play on any pitch because thats their job isn't it.
Somewhere in the mid forties there is a number of points total that for Barrow is the finishing post for continuing to be a League Two club. It is very close now, so Barrow will be content with yesterday's result.
As for Carlisle United the result did not improve our position vis-a-vis 7th place when you consider Friday's and Saturday's results. The margin remains the same as it was and we are all one game nearer to the end of the season. Thus for Carlisle United this is a deterioration of position. So we cannot be content with the result.
After Friday's Newport County draw we had a chance to 'step in'. In the final few games there may be only a couple of more chances to 'step in'.
Once again well done Barrow with another good result,i wonder if the folk moaning last Saturday about them were moaning last night with that score.
