January Transfer Window
The transfer window is open again and already we’ve lost four players -
Morgan Gibbs-White, Kasey Palmer, Declan John, and Jack Evans.
Top scorer Andre Ayew has been linked to West Brom and Connor Roberts is attracting interest from a host of clubs.
Incoming is a blank so far, with a striker the priority. Michael Obafemi of Southampton looked to be on his way to us on loan but picked up an injury. Since then we’ve been linked to several players but so far it’s only paper talk.

Add a goalkeeper to the wanted list this month after Benda sustained an ankle injury in training that requires an operation.
Plus replacements for MGW and KP after the loanees were recalled by Wolves and Bristol City respectively, a recognised goal scorer, and back up for Connor Roberts, then we have quite a shopping list.
-
Goalkeeper Ben Hamer incoming on a free from Huddersfield.
He’s been around a bit, and he will come in as back-up to Freddie Woodman.
Usual back-up goalkeeper Steven Benda is out for several months with an ankle injury which he’s just had an operation for.

Some more players linked with the Swans this window -
Aaron Pierre Shrewsbury centre-back
Jordan Morris Seattle Sounders striker
Conor Hourihane - Aston Villa central midfielder
-
Another player, Crawley Town’s prolific striker Max Watters, who was the subject of a 500k Swans bid, has gone to Cardiff for £1m.
-
Jack Clarke of Spurs, linked to us for a loan move, has gone to Stoke.
-
Prolific striker Jordan Morris from Seattle Sounders in the MLS is on his way apparently. Loan deal with an option to buy.
USA international with 39 caps, normally plays as a winger but can play through the middle.
