His brain farts are very expensive (for us) and he's becoming increasingly flatulent. He will 'green' the less well off into a life of poverty.
The Marxists in the U.S.A compared Trump to Hitler, now that he is gone there is still rioting in the North Western states of Oregon and Washington. It is anarchy they really want with no government authority at all.I travelled to Russia,Poland,East Germany,Ukraine and Romania in the 1970s when it was under communism, nothing in the shops but party members had axis to shops with western luxury goods,if you could get pounds or dollars you could get luxuries from the black marketeers like Abramovitch who had enough money to buy into the state owned oil and gas industry when communism ended. These left wingers who follow Marxist ideals know nothing and yet it is rife in our universities.
As Churchill said: “if you’re not a socialist when you’re young, you have no heart but if you are one when you are older, then you have no brain.”
Like many things communism/socialism look great ‘on paper’ but they don’t work in practice due to human nature. I’ve also seen it several times in many countries - each generation tries Socialism to try to ‘improve the world’, it fails, then they don’t want it again. The next generation comes and the mistake is repeated ad infinitum.
That's totally right TopToon. The labour party will never prosper until three things happen.
They become the party of the centre and slightly left of centre.
The heavy lefties as in Corbyn, Abbott et al have no influence whatsoever.
They strengthen up in Scotland and get their lost votes back from those who have turned to the Scots Nats.
As well as the above it would help if they formed a working alliance with the minor parties such as the Greens, Scots Nats and Lib Dems who are all basically anti-Tory.
Afterall despite this giving the Tories a huge majority the Tory vote, last election was 43.6% and the anti-Tory vote was 56.4%
The Scots are baying for independence on a much lesser margin.
True, Pat. I think only very few people (extremists!) agree 100% with the views of any one party and we tend to vote for the one that most represents what we think.
The old days of the major parties rigidly sticking to their traditional values and asking the electorate to vote for them if they agree, have gone. These days the major parties research what most people want and then adapt their manifestos to fit. Blair was an expert at this, Corbyn didn’t do it at all and Starmer must if he’s to stand any chance. So, in a nut shell I agree with you on what he has to do to win.
Aye Bill. He has shafted the Unionists in NI with the protocol which is a blatent breach of the Good Friday Agreenent.
He is forcing the hand of the Loyalists so don't be surprised to see increasing levels of trouble soon. And rightfully so - the Union is bigger than Boris and the Tories and the Shinners have had everything their way of late.
It's only just crossed my mind and I'm surprised that no one has come up with it sooner but with all of those descriptions above there is another modern candidate besides Bore-arse and that is, of course, Donald Trump.
Doesn't this show how insignificant Trump has become? B)
The leader of the country I live in has made worse decisions than I would expect from a ten year old child over the last year. And I am not joking.
