Reading v Swansea
It’s Easter Monday and an away match at Reading for the second match of the holiday weekend.
Reading had a shock away win at Sheffield United last Friday to pull them 9 points clear of the bottom 3 with 4 games left. They are in good form and their only defeat in the last 6 games was a 1-2 reverse in their last home match against Cardiff nine days ago.
Reading were deducted 6 points last November for breaching EFL profitability and sustainability rules, with a further 6 point deduction suspended until the end of the 2022-23 season. Ironically they would still be in the same position in the table even without the deduction, as Hull, the next team above them, are 7 points ahead.
With the Swans, unbeaten in the last 6 games, it depends which team turns up at Reading, the team that hammered Cardiff 0-4 or the team that were second best in the 1-1 bore draw at home to Barnsley last Friday.

Swans have blown it, 1- 4 up then go and concede three, unbelievable and pathetic capitulation.
Bitterly disappointing and season over.
Reading 4 - Swans 4

Guys, it seems we need a defensive coach after watching that shambolic defending. Something not right when we concede four goals, 1-4 up and we don’t know how to close a game down. Cooper knew and we did it many times under him. Martin was a defender yet can’t coach his team to defend properly. Where were our big defenders Bennet and Burns to come on and counteract their big forwards, not even on the bench? Why was goalkeeper Fisher bought for 400k when he’s no better than what we’ve got, poor in the air and a poor shot-stopper.
Defence needs an overhaul in the summer.

Stop the crosses at source stop the goals. Dracula goalkeeping - afraid of crosses, doesn’t help, big mistake buying Fisher, 400k wasted.
The second goal, Ince unmarked, very poor defending.
Reading’s penalty was never a penalty, the dull linesman gave it not the ref.
