Apparently they had all agreed beforehand not to object to calling the season. That then begs the question whats in it for Hearts? No doubt some behind the scenes negotiating going on.
Today's meeting didn't have the authority to end the season, it'll happen next week at the board meeting. Finally!
Yes, but they could have paved the way for the board to rubber stamp the move.
Temporary league reconstruction seems top be back on the table. That'll be Hearts' price for agreeing to call the season.
What's changed from before? I still don't see any way they'll get everyone to agree. The SPFL board will call the season next week regardless of Hearts imho.

According to the Herald, Ann Budge - specifically - has been given the nod to look again at reconstruction. If they couldn't find a viable reconstruction option before, I can't see how some new plan can be conjured up. It could merely be that clubs are giving Hearts one last chance to find a way of avoiding relegation so that the clubs can't, later on, perhaps in court,be accused of shutting the door before they needed to.
But I think it stinks.
