I get that your involved through family (is it?)
And we all have that one random club that is a rival through you own family. But Luton??
Such a pointless nothing club who really are going nowhere.
As bad as we fell to, we didnt fall out of the league for a decade.
They have one of the worst ground in English football.
Jones is one of the most cheating, irritating little ****s of all the managers.
Give me a man with integrity, a proper football man, over someone like him any day of the week.
We wont lost to that lot.
It's through family yes and I never thought we would meet but they made it back to the championship...sadly.
They won't be easy but I can't see us losing.
Trust me,my phone will be off if they do though.
I feel your pain Robin.
My Uncle and cousins are all big Crewe Alex fans.
Cast your mid back to only 3 years after we won the Premier League. We had won a league, challenged and beaten Man Utd to a title. We had moved away from playing little clubs like Crewe.
But NOOOOOOO, we managed to get relegated. We ended up back in the Championship.
Crewe had managed to get promotion, so we ended up in the same division.
Our side of the family werent worried.
We still had great players. We had Souness as manager.
The first game at Gresty Road was a 0-0. But understandable as Jack Walker had died the day before. It was a very emotional and sad day. Even Crewe seemed to stand off us.
The home game still stays with me. We had 17 shots. 14 on target.
They had one.
We lost 0-1.
I got alot of grief for many a year and it took a while to recover from that!!!!
And he didn't disappoint.
"That's a career ending tackle"
Ok Nathan but what about all the fouls your lot got away with?
Pelly ruddock handled the ball countless times and got away with it.
That bloke is right up there with warnock in the moaning stakes.
And by the way,I am glad mowbray stuck it to the ref.
That was an appalling performance by the ref and not for the first time this season either.
He won't change but he is a nobody managing a little club not going anywhere. So he can talk all he likes.
Enjoy tonight as this bell end will surface before the weekend, giving us his absolute pearls of wisdom.
He will get them playing to the underdog tag for sure.
Little Luton loves being up against it.
