4 defeats in 6 now for IB.... doesnt make for good reading.... way too many poor players at this club, finishing tonight was awful.... Wootton looks like he wouldnt score in a brothel on open night... played well for 20/25 minutes but cant defend for toffee... very very worrying indeed
I keep trying to convince myself otherwise, but we're sh1te. That is as bad a result as I can remember. Wootton missing sitters. Rawlinson's become a liability on set pieces.
We should have put that to bed inside 20mins. Solihull were there for the taking but as usual we take our foot off the gas, start sitting deeper and deeper and invite pressure, in turn draining us of confidence. It's like we don't want to win.
Sick to death of being underwhelmed, disappointed and utterly peed off every game. Utter dog sh1t.
Well that's enough to make the most calm and collected of fans annoyed, angry and disappointed. We were in control comfortably for quite some time but failed to take our chances and have that hunger and desire to put the game to bed. It turned after the equaliser and Solihul were able to up a gear and then failure to get the ball out of our box and it's two conceded again.
It's the ghost of old the conceding of two goals a game that is becoming a concern as it's happening far too often lately, especially after we have been solid defensively so much this season. It will be this that sees us fall out of the play-offs if we do not sort it out quickly.
First back to back defeats since November. This being the 3rd time we've lost two in a row at this level.
We've never lost three in a row in non-league. Let's hope we can still say that on Saturday.
Two of the next three games are against Eastleigh who could overtake us by winning both games.
We have the facilites, we have the pitch, we have the stadium, we have the support, we have the 'football'....but it doesn't work in this league
Begs the question. Was Ardley overachieving?
My new pet hate is Notts having an easy opportunity to cross or make a move forward with players forward and then... passing all the way back to the last defender....yawn.
Surprised with posters saying we played well, err... 70 mins of being outplayed is about 75% of the game.
One thing IB has succeeded in doing is stripping away the pride, motivation and form of our best players, which has to include Enzio and Rodders.
A measure of a manager is getting the best out of the TALENT available, but he seems to be throwing away that as casually as he's throwing away the last of our promotion hopes.
