Although a semi final appearance would have been nice I think the humping in Govan may be a blessing. Let's face it to have got any sort of result would have required Queens to have brought their A game and for Rangers to have been below par. We had been guilty of perhaps hyping the Queens and have been brought firmly back to reality with a distinctive bump.
Now lets focus on the league and in particular this game against the Hibees on Saturday. We are apparently at full strength with no injuries to the squad so this looks like a nicely balanced tie. Lets stay focused and hope the real Queens turn up and with the backing of a healthy home support take the initiative and take the game to them. No negative thoughts and Mon the South!!!
Queens will know that they let themselves and the fans down at greyskull and will be itching to get back on track. My only concern is how we go about this game tactically.Hopefully it will be the high pressing game as usual and not the sitting back and trying to contain the opposition rubbish like most of Tuesday night.Go getem Queens!!
A grey, wet, dreich morning in Dumfries but hopefully a bright attacking performance by Queens lifts the gloom - get intae them !
That assault on Marshall has had an affect on us then , seen as he is out today. No Tapping in first 11 or bench even though stated that no injuries today. The mystery man that no one knows of.
Unfortunately , looks like we will be slow down both sides of defence with Higgins left and Hamill right.
very good home support for starters.please let it bring a home win
Tough fought draw today in horrendous condition but the outcome is that we are still top of the league so that will do nicely.
Would probably took a point at the start of the game but after they were reduced to 10 men so early in the second half I thought we'd pick up all three but it was Hibs who looked the better team for long periods after the dismal
Anyway , we're still top and we're still undefeated , Bring on Dumbarton
Very happy with that. Keeps our unbeaten runot going and still top
