From memory Tommy Robinson (or was it Northernsoul) was sending a few mates to Barrow to sort out the culprits.

Northern Soul's alleged exploits all fell into 2 categories :-
They were so long ago that people would not remember the minutiae of them, so he could state that he did stuff and nobody here could contradict such stories. ("Me and my lads kept Knighton trapped at a Fans' Forum until nearly midnight".)
They were nowhere near Cumbria, so nobody here would have seen the alleged events in such stories.
