UPDATE
It is time for the FA to comply with Competition Law legislation and admit the six top Scottish football clubs into the English Leagues when the UK Government’s FA Bill is finally introduced in the Commons in September.
The invited clubs will be Aberdeen, Celtic, Hearts, Hibs, Rangers plus one from Dundee, Dundee Utd or Kilmarnock, who already have a suitable EPL/EFL 18,000 capacity stadium at Rugby Park.
The average income in the EFL is £100 million per club per season. The invited clubs will need a 20,000 capacity stadium to meet the appointment criteria.
The Bill was originally due to be heard in June but was delayed by the General Election. Damien Collins will continue as Chairman of the Commons Select Committee; other committee members will be announced soon.
The Bill WILL become Law. The proposed new 8,000 capacity junior stadium will close the door to Dundee FC for ever.
