Nelson Semedo
I mentioned Nelson on the Dioga Jota thread. Confirmed now that he has signed for us from Barcelona for a fee of about £29 million. The 13 capped Portugal right back will be a replacement for Doherty. Nelson has been a regular starter for the Catalan side and is still only 26 years old.
Unreal that we can now be signing players from the World Elite, instead of Swindon or Hibernian.

The deal is up to £36.8 million with add on's . He is the sixth most expensive full back in the Premier League history. Could there still be more signings in this window? I wouldn't be surprised if there are others yet.
