My dad 100% arab. Played against Dundee in 60's. Fair to say a few kicks taken and given. Grandad great stalwart of junior football locally. Dont recall a great allegiance either way but...
Was talking about 60's head to heads league games when you had your acclaimed side. Dont have them to hand but pretty sure Utd well ahead. If any of you have them feel free to post.
I've been posting on and off for 2 decades with same username. Suspect Utd have more than a couple of posters to fill in your gaps of knowledge. Anyway think we've exhausted topic.
OK so you don't want the head to head totals
Dundee also finished bottom of their League Cup Group. United finished above them in that too. Nobody saying Dundee were a decent side but United had their measure domestically
Was it only Dundee games postponed???
United 7 points better off than Dundee's best ever side. I've seen some well considered posts from you but that rebuke is some deflection.
If Dundee were decent that year where does that put United as they finished above Dundee in the league that season ??? Mind you so did another 8 teams. Good to see your famous team finished 9th.
Info on St Johnstone website now
Saints doing same as we do and only season ticket holders can buy additional tickets or those registered with them for previous sales
Normal allocation only. Behind goal and bit of stand
Wonder what Mark Ogren thinks about all this. Suspect he's concerned a few of our fans lowered their standard. We were all young and daft at some point but you always put United "first".
Pretty sure utd hospitality season ticket holders moved for this game from George Fox. Heard from multiple sources of Celtic fans being escorted from hospitality to their seats.
Fans won't be selling seats but will be surrounded by away fans as not a lot of season in that area.
Looks like celtic fans buying masses of home end tickets for next week. Entire sections of George Fox beside Shed sold out. Apparently masses on sale on celtic sites.
Apparently 1 sub named that season
Was checking the scores when we beat Celtic twice in 66/67 season (tales from Tannadice has them wrong) and noticed this run....
31st Dec 1966. Beat Celtic 3-2 at home
2nd Jan 1967. Beat St...
Seen Jim at plenty of games at Tannadice. Probably over 20 years? No idea about twitter but would be surprised if loyalties are not tangerine.
Well done lads. Fantastic.
Maybe just maybe....
My young lads got tickets too. No idea how many sold in advance. Bit messy especially if more expensive tickets get priority.
Remember tickets have already been sold. There was a ballot a year or so ago. No idea how many but suspect once corporate added very few if any will become available to even the tartan army regulars.
Pretty sure Scottish Cup final date was changed when cup competition got go ahead a month or so ago. Clearly venue should be changed even if it was only a couple of thousand of each team allowed.
Down that day on a bus full of Craigie High Arabs. Too young to drink so in ground a 2pm. On pitch with team at 205pm. Terracing trouble 210pm. Etc etc
Think crowd was 15k or so?
Think most games about 20 extra who hadn't booked on bus got squeezed on though.
Investment in area must be a positive sign for united
