Aye, and probably well before the Hibs game.
No bust-up at Tynecastle but he has played his last game for us. Nobody is buying the “he needed a rest” stuff.
I suppose he has to say something until Davie C. finalises the payoff and they can announce it. Would imagine they’re also deciding how to spin it in as positive a way as possible!
Not sure it classifies as a bust-up but the fallout is definitely with Goodwin and he’s done.
Aye, there’s plenty winna argue wi that!
That didn’t take long! XD
It seems he’s away.
There seems to be murmurings starting to circulate that out captain may have played his last game for us. Has anyone heard anything about this?
I think we’ve already been in for him but couldn’t agree a deal. Not to say we won’t try again though. The good news is Glass was looking to add a CH even before Andy’s injury so it’s surely a must...
Cannae argue with that, both really poor tonight!
They may well beat us SD but you’re a bit gloomy are you not? “Better than us athletically, physically, technically and mentally”? That’s quite a bit of analysis based on that one game if that is...
McKenzie was outstanding tonight given his age and inexperience. He and Ramsay are a real bonus so far this season.
I believe it’s on.
I don’t think the lack of signings is for the want of trying but some clubs/players may want more than we want to shell out. Hopefully we get at least one in by the start of the week.
Spot on Rico, these clubs are entitled to hold out for the amount they want. I think there might be a few examples already of players happy to come to us but the transfer fees are a sticking point. ...
No, but it wouldn’t surprise me if we were trying to get him as well. And I do think we’re trying to get a couple of other St. Johnstone players.
Ha, don’t think anyone’s replacing the level, and accuracy, of info MSM provides (provided?). I believe this info is right though.
For anyone needing any kind of signing rumour to cling on to, the son of a former SPL player may be on his way!
Think we might have been sniffing about a couple of St. Johnstone players with little success......so far! Whether signing their players would boost ST sales is another matter.
Hope you’re right but I’m hearing some targets are willing to come to us but they, and/or their clubs, are asking for money we’re not willing to pay. The clubs have the right to ask for whatever fee...
I think he wants to play as well. He could have stayed at Celtic in a player-coach role and got more money but he chose to come to us. Part of that decision is down to more playing time I suspect.
I don’t know who your source is but at least some, and possibly all, of that isn’t true.
I’m gonna guess Cormack wants some sort of reassurance that Griffiths is physically and psychologically fit to play more or less every week before he agrees to make him our top wage earner, and...
Charlie Nicholas? Eoin Jess? Craig Hignett? Years ago regardless!
Surely is, or at least he was! But I think Cormack is only going to agree to the wages it would take to sign someone at that level if there’s at least some chance they’ll play every week. And there...
