Interesting post Dougal and looking at QPR'S league form its nowt to write home about played 30 won 10 lost 10 drawn 9. Hope the big man can score a few more goals and win over the his critics.
Johnny you mention Ms Thomson who I think is Lyndon Dykes partner - any idea how the big man is getting on at QPR as all news of him has completely dried up in the last couple on months.
NO - Positive Response - FIAT years before that
What a super result for Queens who certainly Donedee
Yes Hammer your post is exactly what many Queens were thinking - me included - so humble pie on the menu !
Ex - Rangers man Stuart McCall certainly did not mince his words saying the players must be the thickest in the country !
I hope you are wrong about Dapo but when the story broke I wondered if any of the 3 Gers players currently at Palmy were involved
Get the red option in the bin where it belongs
Proud of the boys tonight as every one of them played their hearts out. Sour grapes from Neilson though for blaming the pitch but well done Ryan Stevenson for pointing that the Jambos have a plastic...
Voting - see Queens official site. Personally any of the 5 options except the all - red one ! !
A home win against the Jambos goes further back than that day at Tynecastle in 1963 - it was away back in 1955 when Wattie Rothera scored a last - minute winner in a 4 - 3 victory after the visitors...
Farm was in goal that day but Allan Ball made his debut a couple of months later and was our number 1 for 19 years afterwards !
An extremely difficult game in front of the cameras on Friday night against the league leaders and favourites for the Championship title. Only played the Jambos around 70 times in our history and...
Could be in a bit of soapy bubble looking at the rest of February's fixtures
Back in the bottom two after the Alloa part - timers beat us and the other '' wee '' club Arbroath continued their revival with a great win over the Pars - bad day at the office all round ! !
Good post that sums up our wee club perfectly. We have only won 3 lower division titles and 2 Challenge Cups in 102 years - that's reality but like all the other diehards (dwindling tbh) I can still...
A bit of good publicity for the club and a superb effort by the Tanner Fund fans
Great result for Arbroath and an 11th goal of the season for Jack Hamilton - 9 for East Fife on loan and ! for Livi were the others. This means Alloa our next opponents are now bottom of the league
Over the decades Queens have had many players who come from Glasgow but to now have 4 who were all born in London is most unusual and I would'nt think that has happened before.
Certainly building up a squad of players now as that is approaching 30 now - 23 in official team photo plus the raft of signings including loan goalkeepers in the last few weeks.
No doubt at all that this is a difficult game for Queens to continue their wee revival run since the turn of the year and tbh I think most Doonhamer fans would be happy to take a draw as our record...
Update King - according to Queens expert Skyline Drifter on Pie and Bovril group games in the Betfred Cup are treated separately from the rest of the tournament so Hamilton and the other ex - Queens...
Cheers King Dobbie - as a matter of interest do you think Rangers will be happy that McCrorie is on the bench ?
Gavin Reilly was the only ex - QOS player to appear in Livi's great Betfred Cup semi final win over St Mirren coming off the bench with 18 minutes to go. Robbie McCrorie was sub goalie and Jack...
